基板の両面に拡散性

ホワイト拡散ガラスは、均等な照明プロファイルを作り出す半透明な拡散板です。コーティングや積層構造を通して拡散性を作り出す他の同機能材料とは異なり、固体拡散材料のホワイト拡散ガラスは、表裏の区別がなく、どの向きに配置しても等しい拡散性を得ることができます。ガラス表面は研磨加工されているため、正反射も一部生じますが、透過光はランバート光に近い特性が得られます。ホワイト拡散ガラスは、アッテネーターや観察用スクリーンとして、均一照明を作り出すのに最適です。
